Offshore fish report for June 2019

Things are heating up on the offshore fishing ,in the last two weeks the fish have moved into one day range …. bluefin from 40 to 90 lbs have been biting in a variety of ways , we have been getting them on fly lined sardeans on 50 lb with 50-60 pound top shot also on sinker rigs colt snipers and in the afternoon when they are foaming on poppers pretty epic fishing when it all comes together .. along with that the yellowtail are showing up on kelps and at the...

Local offshore fishing ended on a high note in 2017, actually epic fishing, and the start of 2018 is no different. From yellowtail just off Point Loma and the Coronado Islands to the bluefin – its all happening in January. “Wow” is the word.
